A private, depth-informed couples intensive on the Mornington Peninsula. For couples who want more than weekly therapy can offer — focused, immersive, and carefully held. Some couples know this format as marathon couples therapy.
There is no separate consultation to attend first. The days begin on the first morning, with the Gottman assessment completed online beforehand, and fifteen minutes on the telephone is offered at no charge to anyone deciding.

Fees
Two formats. One commitment.
Fifteen hours of focused relational work across three consecutive days. Suitable for most couples.
Twenty-five hours across five consecutive days. Extended format for deeper work — recommended after significant rupture, betrayal, or long-standing relational distress.

Tumee Hugginson
I am a Gottman-trained couples therapist holding a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, working with couples across Japan, Australia, and internationally.
My approach integrates Gottman Method Couples Therapy with depth psychology, attachment theory, and a careful attention to the unconscious dynamics that shape relational life. I work with couples facing betrayal, disconnection, conflict, and the slow erosion of intimacy — as well as those who simply want to go deeper.
Therapy Atelier was created for couples who want something more considered — a private, unhurried space to do real work.

Where you will be sitting
Sessions and intensives are held in Mornington and online. Therapy is governed by the law of the place you are physically in at the time, not by where the practice is, and there are a few places in which this practice cannot work: the United States, the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec, Italy, Taiwan, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. If you, or your partner, will be in one of them for any part of the work, the practice is not able to take it on, and will gladly point you elsewhere.
If you are elsewhere abroad, or travelling during an intensive, do say so in your enquiry. It is confirmed before anything is arranged.
